Still wondering where Kristen Stewart was headed for when spotted all smiles departing from Los Angeles Airport (LAX) on Aug. 19? A series of photos of Robert Pattinson’s former girlfriend have emerged online revealing that her plane landed in Berlin, Germany to film "Sils Maria." Read on and see the NEW photos.

After wrapping up filming Peter Sattler’s "Camp X-Ray" with rumoured fling, Lane Garrison, Kristen has now joined co-stars filming Olivier Assayas’s "Sils Maria." Photos of the star posted on Kristen Stewart Facebook Fanpage, showed she’s donning an edgy new look.

Gone are her reddish brunette locks and they are now dyed in even darker color. She was also snapped with a clear view of an “eye” tattoo inked on her right arm. It is not clear yet if the new tattoo is permanent or temporary and simply done for the film.

Kristen rather looked rather serious in the new photos on set. Donning an all black ensemble and an apparent, darker hair, Kristen cuts a picture of her usual self in the L.A. streets. Only this time, she replaced her skinny jeans and tight, tiny shorts with a bit of a more formal ensemble, said to be for her role as Valentine in the upcoming Assayas film.

HollywoodLife.com associated Kristen’s “dark mood to her dark looks,” pointing out that "The Runaway" star may appear glum following split from Rob. Again, the gossip Web site, attested the mood to yet another unnamed source, claiming how unhappy Kristen has been to see “carefree” Rob.

“Kristen isn’t happy that Rob has seemed to be so carefree filming his next movie, going out all of the time, etc. Does she want him to live a happy life? Of course. But she wishes it looked like he was suffering a bit more. She feels like her exhaustion and heartbreak as a result of the situation is written all over her face, and she feels betrayed that it looks like he’s totally cool with everything. It’s a cycle of depression for her,” the source said, according to HL.

Maybe Kristen can talk it over to Rob’s former "Cosmopolis" co-star, Juliette Binoche and now hers in Assayas’s film, "Sils Maria." Kristen plays the character of an assistant to a popular actress, Maria Enders portrayed by Binoche.

Explaining her role in the upcoming drama film, Kristen spoke to Women’s Wear Daily while she was attending Paris Fashion Week in France from July 2 to 4, 2013. Gushing over new co-star, Kristen expressed admiration for Binoche.

“I play a personal assistant to an actress. It takes two very particular people to have that relationship be functional — one that services the other — because Juliette Binoche is playing the actress that I assist, and she is one of the most powerful women I think I’ve ever seen in film,” Kristen said during the interview with WWD.

Foreseeing the dynamics between her and her ex’s former co-star, Kristen admits that it’s going to be a challenge to take on the role.

Kristen added, “I’m going to try desperately to not be squashed by a woman like that, and it’s not going to be an easy thing.”

The film, also written by the French director, focuses on Binoche’s character, Maria Enders, a stage actress. Enders is best known for her role as Sigird, “an ambitious girl with disorder charm, fascinated by Helena, a mature woman. The storyline looks how Enders have been affected by her role as Sigird and how it has changed her life.

Kristen’s character as an assistant, however, comes in as Enders’ confidante and the only sounding board when she was caught in a bitter divorce battle. A territory close to Kristen’s heart, knowing how it feels like to deal with break-ups. Certainly, Kristen’s personal experience may resonate in her role as pretty assistant, Valentine.

Set to be released in 2014, "Sils Maria" began filming this week. It is not certain until when Kristen will stay in Berlin to shoot the film. Other stars she works with in the film include Chloë Grace Moretz (Jo-Ann Ellis); Daniel Brühl (Klaus Diesterweg); Tom Sturridge (Christopher Giles ); Brady Corbet (Piers Roaldson); Bruno Ganz (Henryk Wald); Gilles Tschudi (Maire de Zurich) and some more.
