Kristen Stewart Ready To Take A Break From Acting, 'Equals' Star Reveals Plans During Movie Hiatus
"Twilight" star Kristen Stewart recently confirmed that she is ready to take a lengthy break from acting. The 24-year-old actress revealed as well her upcoming plans during her movie hiatus.
In an interview with USA Today, Kristen Stewart shared that working for two years made her want to take some time off and challenge herself with other art forms. "I'm an actor and that's my art form, and because I started that so young, I've always felt intimidated and insufficient when I think about other forms of art I want to create," the actress explained.
For the fans who are wondering what Kristen Stewart will do during her hiatus, the young actress revealed her plans. Stewart shared that she made a decision a couple of weeks ago of buying a live-work space in downtown Los Angeles where she can make stuff with her hands.
"I'm going to take so much time off. I'm making a short film. I'm making a bunch of stuff. I don't know how I'll put it out. But I'm not going to hold it so preciously close to me. I write all the time," Stewart shared.
The actress further revealed in the interview that she is really happy at the moment and feels great. As for the fame thing, Kristen Stewart admitted that she has already gotten used to it. When it comes to everyone staring at her, the young actress stated that it is fine with her.
According to a Mail Online report, Kristen Stewart has worked on seven films back to back in the past two years. The actress is undeniably looking forward to a time off where she can be herself since the last film project that she worked on was very emotionally draining.
Kristen Stewart recently wrapped up on her upcoming sci-fi drama film "Equals" which also stars "X‑Men: Days of Future Past" star Nicholas Hoult and "The Rover" actor Guy Pearce. According to IMDB, Kristen Stewart and English actor Nicholas Hoult will portray on-screen lovers Nia and Silas in "Equals" which is a futuristic love story that is set in a world where emotions have been eradicated. The film is scheduled to be released in 2015.
