After Kristen Stewart's infamous cheating scandal, the "Twilight" actress reportedly left the Los Angeles home she shared with British actor Robert Pattinson and bought a new house instead.

Apparently, Miss Stewart spent $2.195 million last August for her new 3,361-square-foot ranch-style home at the Los Feliz neighborhood in Los Angeles, California, which is only 1.5 miles away from Robert's home.

According to UK's Daily Mail, the lavish home is located on a hillside with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a pool, spa and a country-style kitchen. The captivating views of the valley can bee seen through the large backyard terrace provided with a heap of stone fire pit.

Controversy is now beginning to surround the new home of the 22-year-old actress because it is close to where Robert Pattinson currently resides. This is perhaps part of Kristen's effort to win back the British heartthrob's trust and heart.

"Kristen is working hard to try and force the relationship into what it was before. But the truth is, she's going to have to take it slowly with Robert because he's still having trouble trusting her again," a source told RadarOnline.com. "For him to carry on like nothing happened is very hard. The problem is he can't forget her infidelity," the source added.

Meanwhile, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are currently putting their personal issues aside as they busily promote the final installment to the "Twilight Saga" movie franchise, "Breaking Dawn Part 2." The film franchise based on the best-selling novels of author Stephenie Meyer will officially hit the Australian cinemas on November 15.
