Lady Gaga: ‘I want kids, I want a soccer team and I want a husband’
Ever imagined Lady Gaga taking the role of a doting wife and mother? The eccentric singer revealed on Oprah that she wants not one but a soccer team of kids and of course, a husband.
The Mother Monster to millions of her fans admits to envisioning herself with her own family in the future, but not just yet. The 25-year-old singer sat down in an interview for "Oprah's Next Chapter" and tells she looks forward to experiencing the wonders of being a mother.
"I want kids, I want a soccer team," the popstar told Oprah. "And I want a husband. Well, I'm being superfluous. I don't want to have one kid. I want to have a few."
In addition, Lady Gaga also confessed that she will be limiting her media intake and that her interview with Oprah would be her last interview for a while.
"Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time. The latest thing I do is I don't read a damn thing," Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta said.
"No press, no television, if my mom calls and says, 'Did you hear about?' I don't want to know nothing about anything that is going on in relation to music. I shut it all off."
During the 2012 Grammy Awards, rather than making headlines like she used to over the past years, Lady Gaga, who didn't present or won an award that night skipped the red carpet and was later found sitting silently on her seat.
However silent she wishes to be for the media, it definitely won't stop her music. Her little monsters all over the world should watch out for her "Born This Way" tour. The 26-show tour will kick off in Seoul, South Korea on April 27 and will make stops throughout Asia and Australia.
