'The Last Kingdom' Season 2: Behind the scenes pictures and video
A new set of behind the scenes pictures from the production set of “The Last Kingdom” Season 2 have been released online. There is also a video from the set that teases a new language that may be featured on the show this time around.

Production of the second season of the popular TV series began in June this year. The filming appears to be going smoothly, with the cast members sharing pictures and videos of themselves having fun on the set.
A new set of pictures have been released online on the official Instagram account of the TV series. The pictures mostly show some of the cast members on a beach side location.
There are also pictures of Alexander Dreymon (Uhtred of Bebbanburg), David Dawson (Alfred), Harry McEntire (Aethelwold) and Eliza Butterworth (Aelswith) from the production set. The cast members took some pictures while relaxing on the set.
A video has also surfaced online that shows McEntire speaking in Hungarian. The video appears to be taken on the set of “The Last Kingdom” Season 2. Will the fans get to see Aethelwold speak in Hungarian in the next season? The character is yet to play a significant role in the defence of the last Saxon kingdom that defies the invasion of the Danes.
Meanwhile, the producers have shared a new video online that shows some of the major deaths from the first season. Many of the important characters on both the Saxon side as well as the Danes lost their lives.
More action is expected in “The Last Kingdom” Season 2, as the Saxons prepare to resist the Danes under the leadership of King Alfred. Meanwhile, Uhtred will continue to fight for what he believes is rightfully his. The TV series is set to return in 2017. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date.
