The latest Samsung Galaxy S5 concept image is packed with a metal body and the leaked TouchWiz UI.

The render boasts the rumored 5.25-inch Super AMOLED screen display which has 1,440 x 2,560 pixel resolution. The smartphone is encased in an aluminum body with faux leather at the back for the battery cover while the screen is covered with Gorilla Glass 3.

At the back, the smartphone has 20 megapixel camera. The handset also has Android 4.4 Kitkat OS paired with TouchWiz UI. The handset will have a 2,900 mAh battery capacity. The render did not specify what could be under the hood of Samsung Galaxy S5.

Recent reports claimed Samsung Galaxy S5 will drop the futuristic iris scanner and will instead have a fingerprint scanner.

According to Patently Apple, it will take a year or so for Samsung to create a front-facing camera that can scan irises. Earlier reports cited Samsung is already working on this feature.

During the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this month, Samsung's EVP Lee Young Hee said, "Many people are fanatical about iris recognition technology. We are studying the possibility but can't really say whether we will have it or not on the S5."

Previously, SamMobile cited an insider from Samsung who confirmed the Galaxy S5 will come in two models: one with metal built and one with plastic body. The source also confirmed Samsung Galaxy S5 will pack an AMOLED screen display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution and 16 MP back camera.

Another rumored feature of Samsung Galaxy S5 is the octo-core Exynos 6 chipset or a Snapdragon 805 SoC for the 4G/LTE variant. The handset is also expected to either pack Android 4.4 Kitkat OS or Tizen OS.

Samsung still has not yet confirmed the official details and features of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5. Some rumors claimed that Samsung Galaxy S5 release date will be next month in line with the Mobile World Congress event while others speculated the device will be launched in April.
