Nokia is preparing for the release of Lumia 929. Analysts expect this to be somewhere between Thanksgiving and early 2014. There have been leaks of the phone with images of the device recently. Now the specs of the device are also leaked.

Windows Phone Central leaked the specs online, noting the device is an upgraded version of Lumia 928. The phone is expected to be a customized and exclusive device for Verizon. Currently, it is in testing phase for the carrier.

Display And Design

According to rumors, the Lumia 929 will come with a 5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, rendering a 1080 pixel Full HD resolution. The dimensions on the phone are 136.5 x 71.4 x 10.5 millimeters and a weight of 166 grams.

Hardware And Operating System

The Lumia 929 will come with a 2.2 GHz quadcore processor and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. The processor is a marked improvement over the Lumia 928, which comes with a 1.5 GHz dual core processor and Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon chipset.

The Lumia 929 will run on the Microsoft Windows Phone 8 with the latest update 3. It will also include the Lumia Black firmware. The device will have 32 GB of internal memory and no Micro SD slot for additional memory. The device will have 2GB of RAM.

Camera

The Lumia 929 will reportedly come with a 20MP PureView primary camera with dual LED flash. The phone will also feature a secondary camera, the specs of which are still not clear.

The specs of the camera on the device seem to give a strong indication that the company will be focusing on the camera to boost sales. The Lumia 928 has only an 8MP primary camera.

Connectivity And Other Features

The Lumia 929 will feature NFC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 LE. It will also come with Qi wireless charging, FM Radio, at least three HAAC microphones, Data Sense, NFL Mobile, Verizon Tones, VZ Navigator, My Verizon Mobile, Nokia StoryTeller and Nokia Screen Beamer.

Colors

The Lumia 929 will reportedly come in two colors: glossy white and matte black. This is similar to the Lumia 928, which also comes in two color options.

Battery

The Lumia 928 comes with a non-removable Li-Ion 2000 mAh battery, which allows for a talk time of about 16 hours and 20 minutes on 3G. Analysts expect that the Lumia 929 will have a similar or upgraded battery.
