Amazon will be launching the next installment of the Kindle Fire series. It looks like Amazon is packing on some amazing features. According to a press leak, Amazon Kindle Fire will be hitting stores very soon.

Can it impress like before?

According to a leak from @evleaks, Amazon will release first the refreshed model of Amazon Kindle fire instead of the HD version. The render does not reveal anything about the front camera of the device. The leak only shows a message saying "Amazing upcoming Kindle."

Along with the leaks and reports about the next Kindle Fire refresh, Amazon is also planning to release three new devices. These devices will hit stores before the year ends.

Analysts expect the Amazon Kindle refresh to take on the Nexus 7. Reports also noted that the new device from Amazon will run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 processor together with Adreno 330 graphics chip. There are also sources saying memory bump is up to 2GB RAM.

Upcoming Kindle HD

As for the Kindle Fire HD 2, another leak from BGR shows that the tablet will be around 7 inches featuring a unique backside. The tablet will feature a front camera. The camera seems to promise something and follows a similar framework or design as Google's Nexus 7.

The more interesting feature is that the new Kindle Fire HD appears to sport an angular design which looks flat towards the center but slopes dramatically to the edges of the tablet. It mimics what a traditional project television looks like.

Right behind the sloped design of the upcoming Kindle Fire HD include: power button on the right, volume controls on the left and speakers on top. All of these controls can be found on the back of the device.

Sources say LG G2's smartphone started a design trend and Amazon is following that. The leak does not show the entirety of the device so it still leaves a lot to imagination of what Amazon has up its sleeves. People will have to wait for the final announcement and release to find out other details.

Other reported specs for the Kindle Fire HD include: 7-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 1920 x 1200 resolution screen and 2GB RAM.
