The Games are soon to be filmed and one member of the cast has officially signed on. Phillip Seymour Hoffman has signed on to play Plutarch Heavensbee in the highly-anticipated film sequel to "The Hunger Games". With Phillip finally "Catching Fire", which other characters are left to cast?

Suzanne Collins best-selling post apocalyptic novels may have been beaten as the number one book being read by "Fifty Shades of Grey". Still, the hype for the "Hunger Games" still continues and avid readers plus fans of the book are awaiting announcements of cast choices.

Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth reprise their roles in the sequel, "Catching Fire" as Katniss Everdeen, Peeta Mellark and Gale Hawthorn respectively. Yet, there are bigger roles and characters in the sequel that still haven't been cast in Hollywood. One would be District 4's Finnick Odair who is described in the book as incredibly handsome with sea-green eyes and bronze colored hair. Hollywood names slated as the potential "Finnick" would be Garrett Hedlund and Armie Hammer.

Odair's love interest in the books, Annie Cresta is another character whose film slot is yet to be filled out. A-list celebs being nominated by fans for the role include Elizabeth Olsen and Astrid Berges-Frisbey.

Another tribute with a big role in the books would be District 7's Johanna Mason. However, it appears as if there has already been a celebrity cast as the nihilistic victor, Jena Malone. Though things are still not final with Malone, producers are still on the lookout for the perfect Johanna Mason. Mila Kunis, anybody?

One character in the book that has already been finally filled out would be that of Plutarch Heavensbee. After a long wait, Phillip Seymour Hoffman signs on the film sequel directed by Francis Lawrence. Lionsgate confirmed this Monday, July 9.

"Lionsgate and the filmmakers of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire are pleased to announce that Philip Seymour Hoffman has been cast in the role of Plutarch Heavensbee, Head Gamemaker for The Hunger Games, in the much anticipated film adaptation of Suzanne Collins' worldwide smash hit novel Catching Fire," stated the studio in a Press Release.

Finally, fans of the book can breathe a sigh of relief. Director Lawrence chose the perfect actor to play Heavensbee. Hopefully, Lawrence does justice to the three remaining main characters.
