LG is gearing up to roll out another monstrous smartphone after the flagship LG G3 smartphone. The all new LG F490L is powered with LG's very own processor named LG Odin. It is code-named as Liger.

According to GSMDome, a Chinese website has published a brochure of LG F490L. When you look at the LG Liger, you would feel that both sport the same structural design. However, according to the brochure details, the LG F490L has a 5.9-inch full HD display. The processor that fires up the device is LG Odin NUCLUN octa-core processor. Out of the eight cores, four cores work at 1.2 GHz and the other four cores clock at 1.5 GHz. According to PhoneArena, in the month of August, LG had applied for a trademark for NUCLUN.

The LG Liger is the first handset to feature the in-house LG processor. According to GSMArena, the device would probably come out as a test product for the new LG chipset. As of now, it is not known whether it is a 32 bit or 64 bit processor.

The device measures 157.8 x 81.8 x 9.45 mm. The NUCLUN octa-processor is coupled by 2 GB RAM. The internal storage of the device is 32 GB. The primary camera of the device is 13 MP which comes with laser autofocus. The frontal camera is of 2.1 MP.

The LG F490L will come with a category 6 LTE modem, which allows users to reach downloads speeds of around 300 Mbps. The handset is powered by 3000 mAh battery. LG U+ is one of the South Korean carriers to support the device and as of now it is known whether the device will be released internationally.

According to GSMArena, the LG Liger passed Bluetooth certification at the start of this month. It seems that the product will rolled out in the market very soon as LG is already in the process of publishing marketing brochures. Another report from GSMArena claims that the first ever LG handset powered by their very Odin processor may hit the stands by the end of this month.
