The LG Nexus 5 hype increases as new reports emerge on the smart phone's leaked image, remarkable features, specifications and release date. According to the Android and Me report, Nexus 5 has been given the powerful-sounding codename of "Megalodon" with a release date on October 2013.

"The source claims that Google plans to release a Nexus 5 later this year, October 2013, and they are currently evaluating several prototypes from different manufactures. One of these prototypes is made by LG and it's currently using the codename Megalodon," the Android and Me report stated.

The report included as well a leaked image of the LG Nexus 5 smart phone and the list of the features and specifications indicated below:

1. A 5.2-inch OLED screen display with a 1920x1080p resolution.

2. 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor.

3. 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

4. Internal storage capacities of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB.

5. A 16MP OmniVision rear-facing camera with 4K video recording @30FPS, 1080p video recording @60FPS, Real Time HDR & HDR video recording, optical image stabilization and BSI 2.0.

6. A 2.1MP front-facing camera with 1080p video recording @30FPS.

7. A 3300mAh Lithium Polymer battery.

8. Stereo speakers located at the front.

9. Qualcomm RF360 with LTE 150Mbps & HSPA+.

10. Integrated DVB-T/ATSC-antenna.

11. Hand Gesture Control on navigation and zooming.

LG Nexus 5 may become the first smart phone with the amazing high-technology 4K camera feature. With regards to the processor speed, the Nexus 5 could be the highest clocked smart phone at a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor. The current processor speed is at 1.7GHz which the LG Optimus G Pro, HTC One and HTC One X+ smart phones utilize.

The 2.3GHz processor will supposedly make the LG Nexus 5 "Megalodon" 35% faster compared to the performance of the currently leading smart phones. If these leaked information on the LG Nexus 5 are proven true, then a ground-breaking smart phone will be produced that would entirely offer a unique and superior user experience.
