"Hunger Games" star, Liam Hemsworth and his pop princess girlfriend, Miley Cyrus ditched the casual wear and opted for elegant at last night's after Oscars party. By the looks of it, dressing up paid off because they wowed the whole Hollywood crowd and made it to the best dressed list of Oscars 2012.

February is almost at its end and March 23 is just less than two weeks away. For Liam Hemsworth, this would only mean less time to spend with his lovely lady, Miley Cyrus. So what better way to spend it together than hit and heat up the after Oscars Party by Elton John?

The "Milesworth" duo stepped out late last night to head to Elton John and David Furnish's 20th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party at West Hollywood. Surprisingly enough, both donned their best outfits by far. Liam looked dapper in his black tuxedo and tie while Miley pulled off a gorgeous 80's glam look.

The 19-year old singer wore a grey-silver frock that covered up what people had expected her to flaunt. The dress featured a feather-embroidered number by Roberto Cavalli and a low back cut that revealed most of Miley's bare back.

Despite the crowd of Hollywood celebrities, PDA was high for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. Sources shared that the two were very much affectionate throughout the evening by holding hands, putting their arms around each other's shoulders and stealing quick kisses.

Both stuck around watching the telecast of the Academy Awards while feasting on the multi-course dinner which had been prepared by Cat Cora. Miley and Liam stuck for around for four hours more before heading out to another party at the Sunset Tower Hotel.

Other Hollywood couples in attendance include "True Blood's" Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, Steven Tyler and Erin Brady, and Dave Grohl and Jordyn Blum. Another couple that turned heads during the night was "Vampire Diaries" Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder who packed high on the PDA as well.

As for Elton John's benefit auction, the party managed to raise a whopping $5.25 million dollars for the AIDS Foundation. All the dressing up and partying led to a great cause then.
