Liam Hemsworth to Miley Cyrus: 'She'd better watch the Hunger Games'

"The Hunger Games" are a few weeks away before the film finally hits the big screen by March 23. A lot of dedicated fans of Suzanne Collins best-selling novels are surely lining up for the premiere and one Hollywood star has just caught up with the hype and will be watching the movie herself.

Miley Cyrus should be watching it of course because her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, is in it.

Liam Hemsworth is set to star in the highly-anticipated film, "The Hunger Games" as Gale. The Australian actor will be joined by Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence who will be playing Peeta and Katniss respectively.

Liam, who is a big fan of the books, won't have any problem convincing his girlfriend, Miley Cyrus, to watch the film though the actor did say that Miley never heard of the hype until recently.

"I think she is [excited], she didn't know about it until I was casted. But now she has read all the books, so she better watch it!" shared Liam in a recent interview at the Sony PlayStation Vita US Launch last February 15.

Miley may have not caught fire and the hype yet but she sure has now.

With her boyfriend cast as one of the main stars then it's really not a surprise if Miley chooses to go watch the film. She did read all the books which is proof enough that she's got Liam's back and is as supportive as him.

Back to the "Hunger Games", with a few books in the series will Liam Hemsworth be staying as Gale for the next two sequels? Well, chances are, he is. Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson will still be in the next two movies as reported by E! Online.

"If it does as well as everyone's expecting it to do, then I imagine they'll go ahead," shared Liam.

"I love the books. The books are great ,so if we get to shoot all three films I'll be really happy." added the actor.

Apart from his role as Gale in the much awaited release of "Hunger Games", the Aussie hunk is also set to star alongside a few Hollywood big shots in the film, "Expendables 2" where he'll be rubbing elbows with Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
