When it comes to birthday bashes for Hollywood celebrities, getting drunk and partying hard always goes down. However, for the girl "Who Can't be Tamed", Miley Cyrus, it's a bit ironic that she spends it booze free on her boyfriend's, Liam Hemsworth, birthday party.

The two decided to celebrate it with a simple dinner at Casa Vega last night. Along with them on the date were Miley's parents, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish. Both couples were dressed down for the night.

While Miley opted for denim shorts over black stockings paired with boots and a cozy sweater over a sheer top, her boyfriend, Liam, had a gray hoodie. Miley's parents were also dressed casually. Billy Ray donned his "Cowboy" look and his wife, Tish, wore stone grey skinny jeans paired with boots.

Things are definitely going well for the two and with birthday dinners spent with the parents, it only means they've finally progressed to a higher level in their relationship. So what went down during their dinner at the famous Mexican restaurant?

"Everyone was in bright spirits and was sharing food with each other," shares a source. "Miley's parents clearly love Liam. Miley was being very playful with him all night and they didn't care at all."

Did Miley even get to have a drink or two? It was a birthday celebration after all. Photographers did say the singer tripped on herself on the way out of the restaurant and jokingly commented that she had "too many margaritas."

"Miley wasn't drinking alcohol at all," says the source. "She was with her family and friends having a great time and Liam was definitely the center of attention."

Apart from singing and dancing, Miley is apparently well versed with sarcasm. It was quite a laugh to hear her comment on getting drunk when she wasn't even the least bit drunk that night. (Note: no word though if she smoked a joint or two.)

The singer did promise she'd stop smoking or at least lessen the amount of sticks a day. Does the no booze rule also apply to no cigarettes? Fans of the singer do hope so.
