Liam Hemsworth says he found his ‘true love’
“The Hunger Games” actor Liam Hemsworth has finally found his “true love.” He shared a photo of himself and his brown-coloured puppy named Tani.
In the snap uploaded Monday via Instagram, Hemsworth is seen staring Tani in the eyes. The actor appears shirtless while his puppy wears a “Star Wars” collar. “#TrueLove,” he captioned.
Hemsworth joined Instagram in August, E News reported. Since then, the actor has been posting several photos of his newly adopted puppy. Just last week, the 25-year-old actor posted a photo of Tani resting alongside two kids on Instagram. “Who needs babysitters?” he wrote. In September, Hemsworth shared another photo of himself mimicking the facial expression of Tani on Instagram, which he captioned, “It’s hot…”
The “Hairdresser” actor introduced Tani to his fans in September via Instagram. In the photo, Hemsworth’s beloved puppy is captured looking out the window while driving down the coast.
“My special girl. #Tani #RescueDog,” he captioned.
Hemsworth’s fans reacted positively to his post. One of his fans said, “My roommate is laughing at me now bc I'm freaking out over the dog! But I mean!! Puppy!!!” Another one wrote, “Real men rescue dogs!! Thank you Liam! #adoptdontshop.”
Hemsworth’s former girlfriend and fiancee Miley Cyrus is also a pet lover. Cyrus has adopted several animals including a dog, kitten, fish and pig over the years. She too keeps posting photos of herself and her pets on Instagram.
Meanwhile, there were rumours that Hemsworth has been dating his co-star and close friend Jennifer Lawrence but the two actors have not yet confirmed their relationship status.
In November 2013, Hemsworth told Associated Press (AP) that Lawrence helped him move on and find happiness after he broke up with Cyrus. “For a few years I went down a path where I forgot to be in the moment and enjoy the moment,” the actor was quoted as saying to AP by People. Hemsworth called his pal Lawrence a person who is “so honest and laughs all day long.”
Hemsworth plays the role of Gale Hawthorne opposite Lawrence who stars as Katniss Everdeen in the “Hunger Games” franchise. They will appear next in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2,” due on Nov. 20 in the U.S. and on Nov. 19 in Australia.
