Liberty Ross Feels Sorry For Robert Pattinson, Filed Divorce after ‘Kristen Stewart Cheating Scandal’ [PHOTOS]
Liberty Ross is currently going though another tough time in her life now that she has officially filed divorce from director-husband Rupert Sanders. The couple attempted to fix their damaged relationship but did not work so the English model revealed that she still feels sorry for Robert Pattinson who reunited with Kristen Stewart.
Despite feeling sorry Robert Pattinson, Liberty Ross still does not reach out to the "Twilight" actor.
An unnamed friend close to Liberty revealed: "Rupert brought them into this entire situation and unfortunately Liberty and Robert, the poor little guy, were hurt the most. The entire situation is one she wants behind her and being away from everyone involved would be best for her."
According to the HollywoodLife report, Liberty Ross did everything she could to save her relationship with Rupert Sanders. Unfortuantely, the 34-year-old model could not move on from his infidelity with actress Kristen Stewart which led to her decision of ending their marriage.
"Liberty tried for reconciliation but it was impossible. The mistrust went too deep. The decision to divorce was hers. Of course she is heartbroken and Liberty was humiliated. Liberty is a strong woman and will be just fine. Rupert is not taking it well at all. I can only imagine how Kristen feels, that her actions contributed to the break-up of a family," the friend further revealed.
Liberty Ross cited "irreconcilable differences" on the recently released divorce papers. She petitions for joint legal custody with their two children, 8-year-old daughter Skyla and 6-year-old son Tennyson. Moreover, Liberty demands for financial support from Rupert Sanders including her legal fees.
During a sole public interview in 2012, this is what Liberty Ross said about the cheating scandal between husband Rupert Sanders and "Twilight" actress Kristen Stewart: "I believe that we're all on journeys and we are all given lessons at certain times in our lives. Sometimes, when things seem really bad, you have to be able to see the good and learn from it and move forward as graciously as possible."
