English singer and songwriter Lily Allen is back and with a "hard" bang! Allen has released a new music video of her single "Hard Out There" which can easily be called her most controversial music video till now.

Why? Because it features wobbly thighs, black women twerking hard as champagne is poured over them, suggestive dance moves and lyrics which go something like "Forget your b-lls and grow a pair of t-ts, it's hard, it's hard, it's hard out here for a b-tch".!"

The entire song is sarcastic and trashes the current pop music culture and how women are treated in the pop culture. The message is clear - talent doesn't matter in today's time, as long as you have sexualised yourself and have made a music video featuring twerking women (making fun of Miley Cyrus?) and suggestive dance moves, you are famous and made it to the top of the charts!

Allen, who was on break from music world after having two children, opens the music video by lying on an operation table, undergoing liposuction. She is not alone there and is accompanied by a serious looking man in a suit (could be her manager from recording company or her boss) complains over how women "let themselves get like this." Allen however is seen defending her side by saying "I've had two babies."

Allen's song focuses on the double standards this industry has when it comes to appearances. As the songs stars, we become clearer about what message the pop star is trying to convey as she is seen surrounded by various black women who shake their behinds and twerk while the lyrics go "Don't need to shake my arse for you because I've got a brain."

Allen then really gets hard on the critics with references to Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and the contradictory standards of industry when she sings, "If I told you about my sex life you'd call me a slut/When boys be talking about their bitches no one's making a fuss."

The dancers then jump into making fun of all the pop music videos by grabbing their crotch, licking fingers, shaking their behinds while Allen is forced to pose while eating a banana. "Hard Out Here," has references the 2005 Three 6 Mafia song "It's Hard out Here for a Pimp" and directly criticises the current music scenario.

The content of the video has everything that today's pop music video have ranging from booty shaking to scantily dressed dances and sexual references. And soon you begin to wonder if Allen is trying to do the same too. But then we can hear her sing "If you can't detect the sarcasm you've misunderstood." Her final message is that such inequality towards women and double standards are "here to stay."

We have understood Allen and so have your fans that are watching and liking this music video on YouTube.

"She is making a point. Rappers put woman in this situation all the time. Half naked women dancing with their cloths off shaking their ass. Why can't she do it. Its wrong now because she's telling the damn truth," writes on fan Audrey Lee on YouTube.

"The first time I watched this video I just thought "Wow, it seems really evident now how disgusting some pop stars are being in their video. It should stop because this is ridiculous," says another person called Stuart Smith on YouTube.
