Artist Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are leading contenders for this year's American Music Awards 2013 with six nominations. Country singer Taylor Swift and pop star Justin Timberlake follow next with five nominations each at the biggest awards of this year which are set to happen on November 24 in Los Angeles.

Florida Georgia Line, Rihanna, and Robin Thicke have each been nominated in four categories for the awards.

Taylor Swift, who has garnered every award elsewhere, has not been able to win American Music Award for Favorite Album-Pop/Rock since 2009. The "Love Story" singer lost of Michael Jackson's album "Number Ones" earlier but the very talented singer is nominated this year too for the same award. Her latest album "Red" is pitched against alongside Justin Timberlake's "The 20/20 Experience" and One Direction's "Take Me Home." Will she break the spell this year and take home this award?

When we talk of awards, what comes to your mind? Miley Cyrus and her antics - of course. Though the singer is not nominated for any awards (her album was released in October when the nominations were already announced) she is going to perform at the ceremony. Whenever Miley has performed at awards ceremony, she has created news. In the August MTV Video Music Awards ceremony she shook the world with her twerking and dropped jaws with her tongue sticking out! (see here) In latest news, Miley performed at the European Music Awards in Amsterdam and had the town talking when she smoked on-stage! (see here) So what next Miley, bring it on!

Other artists set to perform include Imagine Dragons, who received three nominations. But when Miley is performing, no one else matters.

The 41st annual American Music Awards will air live from the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live in Los Angeles on November 24 on ABC. The fans can cast the vote for their favourite artist and help chose winner by online voting at www.AMAvote.com. Check out the list of full nominations below.
