In an attempt to revive her career with an SNL guesting, Lindsay Lohan might have done more damage than benefit as audience express mixed reactions. The troubled star made an appearance in Saturday Night Live and received brutal comments in social networking sites like Twitter.

The 25-year-old's guesting for SNL was highly anticipated, more so by people who wants to see on what she has left yet to offer. After the show, people expressed their comments in what seems to be another "flop" move for Lohan.

Although many of her critics didn't give as much needed positive remarks, the ratings for the episode was a success. She brought the show to the number one slot that night beating all other major network programs that were aired the same time.

In addition, her episode was ranked number two in the most watched episode for the SNL season. On top of the list was NBA legend's Charles Barkley episode.

After the show, she celebrated with the other cast at an after-party and was spotted wearing a white top and a black blazer, seemingly oblivious of the negative and harsh criticism thrown at her after her appearance.

Instead of an explosive comeback as what she must have expected, Lindsay was heavily judge mainly for her reliance on cue cards that night. She was seen pausing here and there, looking like she's forgotten her lines.

Although her comeback appearance in SNL didn't give much credit for her career, she remains positive about the role where she had won to play Elizabeth Taylor in a biopic.
