List of Android Phones Getting Ice Cream Sandwich [Updated]
The latest Android version known as Android 4.0 or Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) is now available in the market and other Android-based devices are now ready for an upgrade.
Android ICS has been receiving a lot of positive reviews due to its new features and upgraded design. The hype surrounding Android ICS could be compared with the launch of Froyo. The previous version, Android Honeycomb was not met with this kind of response because there were a lot of issues regarding this version. Through the release of Android ICS, it seems like most of these issues were already addressed and resolved.
Samsung's Galaxy Nexus would be the first smartphone that would have Android ICS as its OS. Despite that, upgrades to Android ICS would be possible for other Android-based devices. Users need to check if their mobile phones would be included in the upgrade.
