London Fashion Week: Selena Gomez dons leather dress at Louis Vuitton bash
Selena Gomez donned a leather dress and attended a London Fashion Week party hosted by Louis Vuitton on Sunday. The occasion was the French fashion house’s exhibition launch titled, “ Louis Vuitton Series 3.”
The 23-year-old crooner showed off her edgy side in a striking black leather floor-length gown. The dress featured beaded embellishment on its sleeves and a silver zip detail that ran through the entire length of the dress. It also featured a plunging neckline and a mini cape with gold embellishments.
The “Tell Me Something I Don’t Know” hit maker opted for an all-black look for her night out. She paired her show-stopping leather dress with a chic Louis Vuitton black box clutch bag and black sandals, Hello reported.
The diva complemented her outfit by wearing her glossy tresses swept up into a chic low bun. Her make-up consisted of dramatic smoky eyes and black manicure. Gomez wore brown lipstick with her understated look.
Gomez made an appearance at the Ralph Lauren party during the New York Fashion Week along with her friend Brooklyn Beckham. The pair kicked up a storm posing for pictures at the party. Gomez rocked a black leather playsuit.
The singer matched her outfit with strappy high heels, while her brunette tresses were pulled back in center part and tied into a ponytail. The teen also shared his picture with Gomez. “Hanging with this cool girl @selenagomez,” Brooklyn captioned the picture. The singer has been winning plaudits for her show stopping outfits of late.
Selena took to Instagram and shared a picture of herself on the red carpet. Magical night with @nicolasghesquiereofficial and @louisvuitton,” she captioned the picture.
Among the other A-listers who attended the bash included Alexa Chung, Lily Donaldson, Cressida Bonas, Michelle Williams and Clemence Poesy. Also present was model-turned-actress Cara Delevingne along with her girlfriend musician St. Vincent.
Cara opted for a chic dark blue suit including a tailored blazer, while St Vincent paired a mint green gown with an oversized black tailored coat.
This is the first time in the fashion calendar month that the model has not taken to the catwalk. “I am not doing fashion work anymore. Modelling just made me feel a bit hollow after a while,” she told to The Times earlier. Delevingne added that it did not help her grow as a human being and she felt old.
