Selena Gomez looks stunning on set of 'Neighbors 2'

Selena Gomez has a new movie project. The singer-actress is starring in “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising,” and she was recently captured filming a scene.

The “Come and Get It” singer wore a pink layered mini-dress while filming a scene for the forthcoming film, Entertainment Tonight (ET) reported. According to E!News, the star is most likely playing Madison, the sorority arch-rival and nemesis to Chloë Grace Moretz's Morgan.

The entertainment site reported that Moretz is “probably the leader of said sorority, given that she is blond and thin and there is an ironclad Hollywood rule that all leaders of fake movie sororities must be blond and thin.”

“While Morgan may be the leader of the pack for now, Madison's got her eye on the prize -- and she's gathering up able and willing soldiers as fast as she can,” the site added.

Eyewitness told ET the Gomez brought her bodyguards at the Atlanta set and looked “happy” while filming. The former Disney star reportedly was “super nice” with fans who waited for the star outside the film location.

Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, and Zac Efron are returning to reprise their original film roles. The other celebrities who are confirmed to join “Neighbors 2” are Dave Franco, Kiersey Clemons and Beanie Feldstein. Nicholas Stoller is directing the sequel based on the script written by Andrew Jay Cohen, Brendan O’Brien, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

“Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising” is slated to hit movie theaters on May 20, 2016.
