“Lucifer” has two episodes left in its freshman year on Fox. Season 2 has been announced, giving the cast members a reason to celebrate on social media sites. Meanwhile, lead actor Tom Ellis says the penultimate and finale episodes of the season are “very, very good.” Watch D.B. Woodside promote #TeamLucifer in a Fox teaser video.

Spoiler alert: This update contains “Lucifer” Season 1 spoilers. Details include highlights of the latest episodes, up to “St. Lucifer,” which aired on Fox on April 11. This week’s new episode is the penultimate show of the season, “#TeamLucifer” (Fox air date: April 18).

Lucifer (Tom Ellis) and Mazikeen (Lesley-Ann Brandt) reconcile with some reservations on Lucifer’s end in Episode 11. This happens after Lucifer realised that he is still immortal, after all. They agree that Maze will pretend they are still at odds and she’s supporting Amenadiel’s (D.B. Woodside) plans completely.

Dan (Kevin Alejandro) manages to escape Malcolm’s (Kevin Rankin) lair, but the latter may no longer have any plans to kill Lucifer. How would Amenadiel react once he finds out that Lucifer found out about his assassination plans?

Still on Episode 11, Lucifer learns that Chloe Decker (Lauren German) makes him vulnerable to mortality. He confirms this with an experiment after surviving bullet wounds to the chest, not by Malcolm, but by the wife of a philanthropist. For her part, Chloe admits to Lucifer that he makes her vulnerable, and she wants to maintain a certain wall between them.

“When a woman is found dead on the Hollywood Walk of Fame - with her body twisted into the shape of a pentagram - the investigation leads Lucifer and team into the world of Satanists,” reads the “Lucifer” Episode 12 synopsis from Fox.

“Lucifer” is developed by Tom Kapinos based on the Vertigo/DC Comics characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth, and Mike Dringenberg.
