Madonna’s post-Valentine ‘Rebel Heart’ concert is in China
Madonna, 57, will be visiting Asia before and after Valentine’s Day. For her international “Rebel Heart” tour, she will perform in Taiwan and in China.
The “Rebel Heart” tour is in support of Madonna’s 13th studio album of the same title, which was released on March 6, 2015 by Interscope Records featuring her collaboration song with Nicki Minaj titled “B---h I’m Madonna.” The 81-date tour is also her 10th worldwide concert tour.
The cheapest get-in ticket for Madonna’s upcoming “Rebel Heart” tour is available for US$81 (AU$115.91), which will be for her concert in Taipei City, Taiwan, on Feb. 6. The most expensive show, on the other hand, is scheduled on Feb. 21 in Macau, China, where the cheapest ticket is available for US$1,212 (AU$1734.40), according to Forbes.
Meanwhile, Madonna was recently spotted with her former husband Sean Penn, 55, in an event in Beverly Hills, while on break from her “Rebel Heart” tour. Along with her adopted children David Banda and Mercy James, she joined Penn at a pre–Golden Globe benefit gala for the J/P Haitian Relief Organisation in Beverly Hills on Jan. 9, Saturday.
During the event, Penn delivered a speech about the importance of raising awareness to help the people in Haiti. To close out his speech, he called Madonna to the stage.
“So I'm going to do something for the second time tonight to show my humility, if, when we get to the auction part, you show me yours,” Us Weekly quoted Penn as saying. “I’m going to get on one knee and I'm going to look at a ukulele and I'm going to say to an Italian chick from Michigan, will you?”
When she took to the stage, Madonna talked about her experience in 2014 when she visited Haiti with Penn and her son Rocco Ritchie and saw the way people reacted to her former husband’s presence. She also thanked the guests for attending the event and told them she could not think of a better place to be on her night off from her “Rebel Heart” tour.
