A man claiming to be the wizard behind the posting of Jennifer Lawrence and other celebrities’ nude photos online said he doesn’t see any problem with it. Sergio Kholodovskii denied that The Fappening was a sex abuse, but instead a good PR for the celebrities.

The 28-year-old Russian isn’t the hacker who stole the celebrities’ intimate photos from their private files, but claims he is the brains behind the site that uploaded the photos, saying, “I’m in charge of hosting and all technical matters to do with the running of this site.”

Speaking to The Sun, Kholodovskii maintained that the photos that they post on their site were not hacked and were taken from open sources.

“There is no illegal activity behind this site,” he said.

He vowed that his group will not hesitate to upload more photos of the hapless celebrities.

“If there are more pictures to post, we will post them,” he told the gossip site, via RadarOnline.com.

And despite Lawrence calling The Fappening a sex crime and sexual violation, Kholodovskii believed that they even gave the victims a favour.

“I would not call it sex abuse. These pictures are good PR for these celebrities,” he insisted. “Some of them were not that [well] known before. Now people are talking about them.”

He conceded, though, “If somebody is unhappy to the point of taking action to sue us – well, we’ll just shut down the Web site and that will be it.”

Lawrence, Kim Kardashian, Teresa Palmer, Rihanna, Kate Upton, Scarlett Johansson and dozens other female celebrities have been victimised by the nude photo leaks the Internet calls The Fappening in late September. The photos first appeared on the imageboard 4Chan, and were shared to various sites.

Recently, there reportedly have been nude photos of “Doctor Who” star Matt Smith, Nick Hogan and Upton’s boyfriend Justin Verlander that were posted online.
