Henry Cavill is certainly the man of the hour all thanks to his up and coming film "Man of Steel." Apart from being eyed as Christian Grey for the highly-anticipated film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey," Henry is also being eyed as Dunne for "Gone Girl." Which character would best suit the handsome Hollywood hunk?

Casting buzz around "Fifty Shades of Grey" continues since the announcement of a film adaptation. With the film set for a release by summer of 2014, casting let alone auditions for the lead roles have yet begun. Of course, leave it to dedicated fans of "Fifty" to come up with potential stars for the role.

Countless web polls with hundreds of Hollywood celebrities named have been up on the web. However, the strongest contenders for the role remain to be Ian Somerhalder of "The Vampire Diaries", Matt Bomer of "White Collar" and Henry Cavill of "Man of Steel."

While Matt Bomer expressed wanting to "have nothing to do with the film", Ian Somerhalder and Henry Cavill were open to possibilities of getting cast as Christian Grey. Ian Somerhalder may have his supportive fan base but so does Henry Cavill.

In fact, a lot of Cavill fans think that all thanks to "Man of Steel", Cavill has a greater chance at nabbing the role of Grey. Yet, there might be a bit of a problem given Cavill is also eyed for the lead role of another book to film adaptation.

"Man of Steel's" Henry Cavill has ranked number eight on Buzz Sugar's casting list of the most popular book over the summer, "Gone Girl." The book written by Gillian Flynn tells the tale of Dunne, a 34- year old "reasonably successful magazine journalist. A short synopsis of the book is as follows.

"After becoming a victim of the recession, Dunne and his wife pack their bags and move back home to Missouri where he opens a bar with his sister. Not long after moving, and on his fifth wedding anniversary, his wife suddenly disappears with all clues leading to Dunne as the murderer."

Dunne as described in the book is charming, extremely selfish and can sometimes be a bit of a "douchebag." The actor who would nab the role needed to pull off a mysterious vibe. According to Buzz Sugar, Henry Cavill has the same "dark, disarming good looks to match those of Nick."

Other big names set for the role include Jeremy Renner, Jake Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard and Ryan Gosling.

So which film should Henry Cavill star in, "Fifty Shades of Grey" or "Gone Girl?"
