A national security analyst has reached a deal to pen a book on the recent killing of Al- Qaeda leader, Osama Bin Laden.

Peter Bergen, who according to the Associated Press is the leading biographer of Osama Bin Laden and the Al-Qaeda finalized the agreement with the Crown Publishers.

With the working title, “The Manhunt”, the book aims at providing “an immersive and a definitive account” on the final days of the terrorist leader.

No date for publication has been announced but the plans for the book was confirmed by Crown Publishers Tuesday.

Bergen currently works as the national security analyst for CNN and had a number of books to his credit. These include, "Holy War, Inc.," "The Osama bin Laden I Know" and "The Longest War", said the AP.

Meanwhile, another publications has earlier announced for an e-book based on Bergen’s “The Longest War”.

President Obama announced early this week that a small group of U.S. operatives had pinned down the man behind the grief of thousands of American people when the World Trade Center was attacked to a total destruction by bin Laden’s men in September 2001. His capture and killings came a decade after the September-11 attacks.
