Maria Sharapova And Grigor Dimitrov Enjoy Offseason As They Stroll In London
Maria Sharapova and Grigor Dimitrov are trying to make the most of whatever little time they have during the tennis offseason. The lovely couple had an impressive campaign in 2014. Sharapova ended her season second in the WTA rankings, while Dimitrov ended his tour ranked 11th in ATP rankings. Now that they have some time off the sport, Sharapova and Dimitrov made sure to spend significant time with each other.
According to a report by Mail Online, Sharapova and Dimitrov stepped out in the public on Nov. 9. They were spotted strolling in London, all smiles and walking hand and hand. They reportedly wandered along Dover Street Market, a multilevel fashion and retail store situated in Mayfair, London.
Sharapova and Dimitrov dressed casually during their recent outing together. Sharapova donned a pair of leather pants cropped just above the ankles, knitted jumper, navy cardigan and Chelsea boots, Mail only further reports. She also sported a handbag in animal print. Dimitrov, on the other hand, matched Sharapova's jumper with a grey one. He completed his outfit with a burgundy top, khaki chinos, black boots, and a scarf wrapped around his neck.
As seen on posts that they shared on Instagram, Sharapova and Dimitrov went to see contemporary art galleries such as White Cube and Saatchi Gallery. As good as the last season was, the couple's vacation looks so much better.
Sharapova will play in the Manila leg of International Premier Tennis League. She leads the Manila Mavericks, alongside British star Andy Murray, in the team tennis competition. The event will take place at the SM Mall Of Asia Arena from Nov. 28 to Nov. 30. The other members of the Manila Mavericks team are Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Carlos Moya, Daniel Nestor, Kirsten Flipkens, and Treat Huey.
Meanwhile, Dimitrov has turned down ATP's offer to play as the second alternate for the ongoing Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in London. The Bulgarian athlete said that he didn't want to play in the season-finale hoping that someone gets injured just so he could play. Dimitrov added that he only wants to play in London if he has really qualified to be there and not as a replacement.
