R & B singer, Mariah Carey has posted on her Twitter page, a picture showing her baby bump with a huge butterfly painted on it and with the words ‘dem babies’ written above the image.

"My attempt @ festiveness on 327!" she Tweeted Monday. "Comin soon #dembabies! LYMA+thanx 4 making me happy:)," the very pregnant first time mom for twins said on her post on her Twitter page.

A separate report by IBTimes described the celebrity couple, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon as excited for their twins.

The photo was posted a day after the 37-year-old Mariah was brought to the hospital for contractions by her husband, Nick, 30.

The Associated Press said that Carey wrote in her Tweet Sunday: In her original Tweet on Sunday, Carey wrote: "[The babies] almost came on 3/27 … We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!!: )."

The singer’s husband Nick had also taken to Twitter to praise his wife tweeting, said AP, “[Women] are the ones that have to be the strongest in the whole ordeal! I am in awe of my wife!"
