'Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 3 episode 8 spoilers: Coulson launches ‘Operation Spotlight’ in 'Many Heads, One Tail'
In Season 3 Episode 7 of “Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” it was revealed that Rosalind Price (Constance Zimmer) had connections with Hydra, after she spent the night with Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg). In the sneak peek videos for the upcoming episode, titled “Many Heads, One Tail,” Coulson is apparently only using the ATCU leader to find out more about her true intentions. The episode will air on Nov. 17 and is directed by Garry A. Brown and written by Jed Whedon and DJ Doyle.
In the teaser video, Coulson brought Rosalind to the agency’s secret base to present some of his gadget collection. Rosalind asked the director about his recruitment, and the latter answered that he was studying history and discovered how S.H.I.E.L.D. shaped the history of America. Rosalind told Coulson that he is the first and only S.H.I.E.L.D. agent that she got to know more, but Coulson does not believe her.
After he believed that he gained Rosalind’s trust, he decided to begin the investigation on the ATCU.
In another sneak peek, Coulson clarified to the team that they are officially investigating the ATCU. He will launch “Operation Spotlight” and provides specific task to the agents. They will use Andrew’s (Blair Underwood) detention as a means to enter the premises. Bobby (Adrianne Palicki) and Hunter (Nick Blood) will work together, while Daisy (Chloe Bennet) and Mack (Henry Simmons) will provide support. May (Ming-Na Wen) is in charge of extraction and chose Lincoln (Luke Mitchell) to work with her, which seemed to scare him.
MNR Daily reports that in the next episode, more details will be shown on the relationship between Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) and Leo Fitz (Iain de Caestecker). Simmons was looking for a way to return to the dimension she was trapped before, and Fitz supported her decision. Simmons and Will Daniels (Dillon Casey) might meet again and rekindle their romance, but Fitz will most likely come in and finally tell Simmons about his true feelings for her. Cartermatt writes that Fitz will have to decide whether he would like to continue helping the woman she loves as he finds out more about Will.
