Marvel Drops Thirty Second Teaser To 'Ant-Man's' Upcoming New Trailer [SEE VIDEO]
During the Sunday night MTV Movie Awards 2015, Marvel dropped a 30-second teaser for their upcoming film “Ant-Man's” next trailer. The small teaser, the video of which can be seen below, offers a glimpse of what's coming next – the new trailer of “Ant-Man.” Followed by the teaser, Marvel will now release a new trailer of “Ant-Man” on their official website.
The film stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly, and Corey Stoll, among other actors. Directed by Peyton Reed, “Ant-Man” is based on a script by Adam McKay and Rudd. "Imagine a soldier. The size...of an insect,” says actor Corey Stoll, who plays the character of Darren Cross or Yellowjacket in the upcoming film. Yellowjacket is the baddie in the film and his character is inspired by a wasp.
Rudd, who plays the lead role of Ant-Man, is shown wearing his highly sophisticated suit as he prepares to go out on a mission. Rudd plays a con-man named Scott Lang in the film, who must accept his inner hero and learn the art of getting shrunk to a size of an Ant. For getting into such a tiny size, Lang must wear the suit of Ant-Man, which gives him strength-increasing powers despite decreasing his size.
Rudd's character Lang is mentored by a scientist Hank Pym (played by Michael Douglas), who wants him to unleash his inner superpowers and save the world from Yellowjacket (Corey Stoll). Evangeline Lilly plays the character of Hope Van Dyne, daughter of Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne. Directed by Peyton Reed, “Ant-Man” is based on a script by Adam McKay and Rudd.
“Ant-Man” is the 12th film that takes place in the fictional Marvel Cinematic Universe. “Iron Man,” “Captain America,” and “The Avengers” are some of the other films which have the same Universe as the backdrop. The first trailer of “Ant-Man” was revealed to the Marvel fans during the premiere of Marvel's television show “Agent Carter” in 2014.
