'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' season 4 episode 10 spoilers: Agent May struggles with her LMD; the truth about Agent Mace surfaces on ‘The Patriot’

After the midseason premiere of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," a new sneak preview of the upcoming episode was released. The official synopsis and the trailer do not tell much but taken together, both point to the fact that big secrets are about to be revealed and that the team is going to go through a lot of trouble very soon.

In the previous episode, viewers saw how Aida continued her search for the Darkhold and how Coulson remained unaware of May’s true nature. Later on, Radcliffe revealed his thoughts about Aida and the Darkhold -- that he regrets creating Aida and that he never thought she would be an actual human. He was also torn into thinking that killing her would make them murderers.
Fans should be aware by now that there really is something fishy about Agent Mace and, as the newly released teaser reveals, the mystery behind the man might be explored in this upcoming episode. As earlier teased, viewers might find out who this man really is and how he came to be the man that he is now.
The official synopsis reveals that, indeed, a shocking secret about Mace gets revealed and this will put S.H.I.E.L.D. in danger. The trailer for this upcoming episode seems to confirm that a lot of action is about to be unveiled. Aside from the trouble the team will have to go through after learning more about Mace, it looks like Agent May will be in some struggles in dealing with her own LMD.
This revelation of a new Marvel superhero has fans thinking that perhaps, a new Marvel hero may be officially introduced to the show in full costume. After all, The Patriot came in after Ghost Rider came out, so it is logical that is promises the same level of fun and excitement that the Ghost Rider arc did. This upcoming episode was written by James and Sharla Oliver and directed by Keving Tancharoen.
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on ABC. In Australia, it airs on SyFy.
