The wait for new details on who will play Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey is excruciating. And while the polls are still up, the online community gets flooded with "Matt Bomer is Christian Grey" memes.

What is there to know about Matt Bomer aside from the fact that he looks like the perfect actor to play the role of the sexy Mr. Grey? Well, his fans are definitely keen to see him take the role of the aggressive character in E.L. James' erotic novel.

There is no confirmed news on whether Matt is shortlisted or even considered by the producers to play the role, but the sure thing is, he is one of the top most favorites including "Man of Steel" actor Henry Cavill and "Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder. What do these three men have in common? Looks that kill.

While there is a fan craze on the fictional character of Christian Grey, the same can be said on Matt Bomer. There's even a book that sells on Amazon titled, "The Matt Bomer Handbook - Everything you need to know about Matt Bomer."

As of previous news, the "White Collar" star admitted that he hasn't been contacted anyone to play the role of Christian Grey but says he is very much flattered with all the attention that he is getting right now.

"Did you ask whether I've been approached to play the part? No. I'm incredibly flattered by and grateful for the response, for sure, but yeah, I guess that's all I can say about that," he once said in an interview.

Well whether or not he turns out to be Mr. Grey, his fans are convinced that there is no other Christian Grey other than Matt Bomer.
