Medical Abuse: NY hospital suspends doctor accused of injecting morphine, ejaculating on patient’s face
Two medical practitioners were the subject of complaints by female patients who claim sexual molestation, particularly being at the receiving end of the male doctor’s and dentist’s ejaculation. The first incident involves a New York doctor, while the second incident involves a dentist from North Carolina who tried to open a practice in Belize.
Dr David Newman, a 45-year-old Iraq War veteran, has been suspended by the Mount Sinai Hospital and cannot see patients until the investigation is over. A female patient arrived at the hospital on Monday before 10:30 pm with pain on her right shoulder. Nurses at the emergency room gave her two pain pills and a morphine injection, reports the New York Daily News in an exclusive story.
The patient was instructed to change into a gown for X-ray and removed her shirt and bra only. After the X-ray, Newman walked into her room and injected her again with morphine despite informing him that a nurse had already inoculated her.
After Newman examined her back and she complained of pain on the right side of her chest, the doctor allegedly touched and fondled her breasts. He then turned his back and the patient could hear the sound of someone masturbating. Because she could not move due to the medication, the patient could not do anything when he allegedly ejaculated on her face. Newman then wiped his semen off her face using a blanket.
A nurse eventually entered the patient’s room and found her blacked out. The nurse and another doctor, Andrew Jagoda, woke her up. When she looked at the mirror, she saw what looks like traces of semen on her face and chest which she wiped off with her gown.
The 22-year-old patient kept the gown and the bedding which she likely kept to preserve evidence. She told Jagoda what happened and sought to speak with his supervisor, who was actually Newman. She complained with Mount Sinai which is conducting a probe on the doctor who was recipient of an Army Commendation Medal for his deployment as major to Iraq in 2005. Newman is also the author of a book that claims there is a disconnect between patients and their physicians.
Meanwhile, a North Carolina dentist, who had been penalised for injecting his own semen into the mouths of dental patients, attempted to open a clinic in Belize, reports Vice.com. Dr John Hall, who used to practice in Cornelius, told female patients that he would inject something in their mouths which taste funny, but they should swallow it.
When one of his assistant overheard a patient object because the liquid smelled like sperm, the clinical staff collected used syringes from Hall’s clinic after he left which was used as evidence in lawsuits filed against him for breaching the dental standard of care, indulging in immoral conduct and seven counts of misdemeanor.
DNA tests confirmed the semen came from Hall pleaded guilty in 2005 to the charges, was jailed for four months in Mecklenburg County and had his licence revoked. However, in early January, he almost opened another dental clinic in San Pedro, Belize, but the police discovered his previous conviction.
