MH370 Search Update: Aviation Expert Reportedly Solves Mystery Of Missing Malaysia Airlines Jet
Nine months after its disappearance, Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 remains missing. The case of the missing jet has become one of the greatest mysteries of aviation history. However, a publisher's description of a new book on the subject claims the book contains answers to unsolved mystery of the MH370.
Inquisitr picked up the news from the Skyhorse Publishing website's page about David Soucie's book "Malaysia Airlines Flight 370: The Plane, the Passengers and the True Story of What Happened to the Missing Aircraft." As per the account on the publisher's website, Soucie is an aviation expert with 30 years experience as a safety inspector and accident investigator for the Federal Aviation Administration.
The description of the book states that it not only gives a "thorough account" unlike other books about the plane's disappearance but it also "answers the mystery the rest of the world just couldn't solve." However, Soucie does not agree with the publisher's claims about his book. In a Twitter post, posted on Nov. 10, 2014, the CNN commentator calls the claims by the book's publisher, "preposterous."
@David_Soucie: WT Heck? This is the first I've seen that cover, it is preposterous for anyone to clim they know what happened to MH370

As noted by Inquisitr, the same description can be found on the book's Amazon page. The aforementioned website notes this led to a "sarcastic" reaction from another author, who is also independently carrying out an investigation on the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370. Jeff Wise wrote on Twitter: "Apparently @David_Soucie has solved the mystery of #MH370. Congrats, David, can't wait to read yr book!..."
The missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 disappeared on March 8, 2014. The plane was travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with more than 200 people from 15 different nations. Within a few minutes of its take off from Malaysian airport, the plane went off radar. Since its disappearance, MH370 has not been located. Several countries came together for a multinational search mission, but the plane remains missing. Based on the data received by a satellite, on March 24, 2014, the Malaysian government announced that the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 "ended in Indian Ocean."
According to the latest report by Stuff.co.nz providing MH370 search update, searchers have not "found a single piece of evidence of the plane." However, they have discovered some "fascinating undersea crevices and inactive volcano." Meanwhile, Judith Zielke, chief coordinator of Australia's Fligth 370 recovery efforts, hopes to find the answers to the mystery and provide closure to the families of the passengers. It is said that the entire search will end in April.
