Microsoft Band: 765 Best Buy Stores To Start Selling The Apple Watch Killer From This Month
People who wish to buy the Microsoft Band know it very well that it is not easily available online or offline. However, the situation is bound to change this month as Microsoft has confirmed that it will be making the Microsoft Band wearable available in 765 Best Buy retail outlets in the U.S.
According to Windows Central, the Redmond giant has confirmed on the fact that the Band will be coming to 765 Best Buy stores in the U.S. As of this writing, there is no confirmation on the exact date for arrival of new stocks of the wearable. Since its launch in October 2014, the Band was only available through Microsoft but now it has authorized Best Buy to sell the Band wearable gadget.
Best Buy will be selling all three size variants of the Microsoft Band such as small, medium and large. In order to attract the audience, customers will be shown a live demo of the wearable before buying it. Windows Central further adds that the Best Buy retail outlet staffs are being trained to get familiar with Microsoft Band related videos such as Meet Microsoft Band, Selling Microsoft Band and Meet Microsoft Health.
The Microsoft Band is not a smartwatch cum fitness tracker that has received positive response from the audience as well as the critics. Even though the Apple Watch was announced last year in September 2014 and on March 9, it was announced again with details on watch models, battery life and pricing.
The Apple Watch will be available in three models and each model will be available in two size variants. The Apple Watch Sport, the Apple Watch and the Apple Watch Edition are the three different models. The Apple Watch Sport is the lowest priced model and it carries a price tag of $349. The Apple Watch model is priced at $549 and the Apple Watch Edition is priced at $10,000.
There is only edition of Microsoft Band and it is priced at $199. The preorders for Apple Watch are going to begin on April 10. With Apple Watch slated for a release on April 24, the Redmond giant seems to be aiming at attracting more buyers for the Microsoft Band starting this month.
