Mila Kunis Opens Up About Being A Mom, Designs Expensive Maternity Ring For A Cause
Actress Mila Kunis recently opened up about being a first time mom after giving birth to her daughter, Wyatt Isabelle, with "That '70s Show" co-star and husband-to-be Ashton Kutcher. The 31-year-old "Jupiter Ascending" star, who got appointed as brand ambassador for Gemfields, has designed a special maternity ring for a cause.
According to a Woman's Day report, the "Black Swan" actress collaborated with the jewelry designer Marina B to create the special ring as a symbol of motherhood. "Carrying a child and bringing new life into the world marks the start of an incredible journey," Kunis stated.
The proceeds from the sale of the maternity ring will go to the opening of the Gemfields Nkana Health Center in Zambia. "[It's] one more tool to help them grow and thrive in the land around their Gemfields mines," the actress explained.
Mila Kunis was appointed as a brand ambassador for the luxury producer of precious gemstones earlier this 2014. The "Friends with Benefits" star also had the chance to personally meet the people and investigate on the ethical mining when she traveled to Zambia, Africa.
Mila Kunis further talked about the meaning behind the green emerald design on the gold maternity ring. The first time mom explained that precious green emeralds are traditionally the symbol of motherhood, wisdom and long-lasting love while other cultures find the gemstone as a symbol of hope.
Meanwhile, an unnamed source revealed to E!News that Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are currently loving being new parents to their baby daughter. The insider shared that the 36-year-old actor already wants a second baby as well as Mila in order for the siblings to have a close age.
At the moment, the couple is really excited for Halloween because they have been dressing up baby Wyatt with different baby costumes and hilarious outfits. "It's their first holiday as a family and even thought Wyatt is barely a month old, they are stoked!" the source shared to the entertainment Web site.
Since it is still early to take little Wyatt trick-or-treating, Mila and Ashton are currently thinking of having a Halloween party. The source further shared that the couple wants to invite over other couples with or without kids to their home to celebrate and enjoy the evening with food and drinks.
