Miley Cyrus Tries To Please New Beau Patrick Schwarzenegger's Family, Attends Charity Event Supporting St. Jude Chilren’s Research Hospital In Beverly Hills -- Report

New couple Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger attended a charity event that supports the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Beverly Hills last Saturday, Dec. 13. The 22-year-old "Wrecking Ball" singer is reportedly trying to please her new beau's family, particularly his mom Maria Shriver, as she ditched her raunchy and crazy antics at the event.

According to a Mail Online report, Miley Cyrus looked sweet and compliant at the event where she showed up covered with a bulky black coat, a grey knit cap and a make-up free look. As for Miley's new boyfriend, the 21-year-old model and actor wore a plain white shirt and dark trousers with his dark blonde hair in a stylish flip. Click HERE to see photos.

An exclusive E!News report revealed that the couple still showed some public display of affection (PDA) at the charity event. "They were holding hands and didn't want to take photos together. They were very nice and took photos with the DJ who is Oscar Adler," an unnamed insider shared. The insider added that the couple arrived at the event at about 5:30 p.m. to support the charity event even though the organizers did not know Miley and Patrick were attending.

Miley and Patrick reportedly socialized with the other guests at the charity event where the two were spotted chatting with actress Joey King before leaving. The other celebrities spotted at the charity event include "Glee" star Matthew Morrison, Rachel Zoe, "Twilight" actress Ashley Greene and Dan Bucatinsky.

Meanwhile, an exclusive Hollywood Life report claims Maria Shriver, Patrick Schwarzenegger's mom, is stressed out over her son's romantic relationship with Miley Cyrus. "She is absolutely not okay with him dating Miley. It's getting really messy now," an anonymous source revealed to the entertainment Web site.

The source shared that Maria Shriver is worried and upset where Patrick's relationship with Miley will lead him one day. The source shared that the Miley-Patrick relationship is putting a huge strain on the holidays of the Schwarzenegger family.

The source further revealed that Maria plans to put an end to her son's relationship with Miley by talking to him one-on-one during the holidays. "She wants to talk some sense into him," the source shared.
