Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth have been busy promoting "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and their closeness at the red carpet appearances apparently made Miley Cyrus not so happy about it. Ms Cyrus hit back at JLaw after the award-winning actress made comments about her 2013 VMAs performance.

"Miley's mad as hell. She thinks Jen is such a hypocrite - she basically wears nothing but body paint in X-Men - how is that not using sex to sell? And then, she was all over Liam on the red carpet," the unnamed insider revealed in the Sugar Scape report.

In a previous report, Jennifer Lawrence has commented to BBC Newsnight during "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" premiere that sex sells. "And for some disgusting reason young sex sells even more," the 23-year-old actress stated in the So Feminine report.

According to the anonymous sources that are close to the "Wrecking Ball" singer, Miley has had enough of Jennifer's smug behaviour. "Miley feels like Jennifer always tries to act like such a feminist in all her interviews, but then poses in a revealing dress to promote her film. That seems so fake to her," the sources shared.

To make things worse, Miley's frustration at Jennifer now includes her closeness with ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth. The 23-year-old Aussie actor has admitted in an interview that co-star Jennifer Lawrence helped him to get out of the dark place he was in after ending his relationship with Miley.

"For a few years I went down a path where I forgot to be in the moment and enjoy the moment. But being around with someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now. I'm much happier," Mr Hemsworth stated in the Perez Hilton report.

Jennifer being particularly affectionate with Liam since they filmed "The Hunger Games" reportedly made Miley angry. "Liam kept telling Miley how great Jennifer was, so that got her back up. Then, when they met, Miley felt like Jennifer focused all her attention on Liam and made no effort with her," the insider revealed.

Now, the images of Liam and Jen getting cozy on the red carpet made the former Disney star angrier. The source further added: "Miley always suspected that Jennifer didn't like her and she suspected that she would side with Liam over her. These pictures of them getting so close have made her see red."
