Mojang has finally released another snapshot, this time titled 13w41a, and the change log has finally been posted to keep fans updated.

iDigital Times found the Reddit thread which lists down a number of new features that can be found in the Snapshot 13w41a. These include a number of major and minor additions, such as stained glass, transparency of some boxes and more bug fixes.

The new snapshot now allows iron bars to connect to glass panes and the iron bars and glass panes are now rendered as 2-pixel-thick boxes.

There is also a fix for the transparency of boxes, with the ice, portals and water now visible through each other.

Your Minecraft world will also catch up on missed time when you resume or un-pause the game, which means that the ability to stop time by pausing the game has been removed--though the Reddit list notes that this may be a bug.

Stained glass and stained glass panes have also been added. They are available in 16 colors.

The server list has also been improved, with MOTD no longer past the list part and bearing multiple lines. Mojang has also included the option of having icons for your servers.

More bugs have been fixed, such as Fire Aspect now setting mobs on fire, Beacon's beam now showing, text is now completely readable and the lighting is now working with leaves. Some item issues like the boats breaking on lily pads and villagers exchanging two items and losing one have been fixed.

As usual, any bugs found may immediately be reported to Mojang so they can get back to work coding and improving the snapshot. Here is the direct link for reporting bugs. Download the Minecraft snapshot 13w41a here.

CurseForge Store Launched

At the Minecraft Forums, the new buzz is around the launching of the new store, the CurseForge Store. The launching is the first of many revamps and the sites affiliated with it.

The layout and style of the sites have been modernised and changed in accordance with the different concerns of authors. Minecraft Forums also reports that the store will be the venue for some of the transactions players need to do, including purchasing points, viewing totals and history, and transferring points to other users. But the project reward splits are still being configured on the current site.
