It seems that Microsoft is not neglecting indie developers after all, as Microsoft Corporate VP Phil Harrison took the stage to announce the first indie title to come to the Xbox One, and this is none other than Minecraft.

The Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition will finally have a Minecraft Xbox One Edition, making use of the Xbox One's new features to develop larger maps, expanded and extended multiplayer features, better graphics and gameplay, and more, reports VG 24/7.

Aside from being a great way to usher in indie gaming to the next generation console, transporting Minecraft Xbox 360 to another level may also pose well for the Xbox One, as the game is considered to be one of the most-played and well-received titles of the current-gen console.

A trailer has also been released at the E3 2013 conference, promising "bigger worlds, bigger multiplayer, and more Minecraft."

Halo 5 coming in 2014?

After many teasers, from the Halo: Bootcamp to Steven Spielberg's latest TV series project based on the game of the same name, a new Halo has been reported to come out for Microsoft, and it's headed for consoles next year.

Considering the date of the release, and the fact that it has not yet been confirmed if the project is, indeed, the Halo 5 supposedly being developed by 343 Industries, it seems that this installment of the game won't be an Xbox One launch title, reports NBC News.

IGN points out that this may mean that the "Halo" may just be a place holder title. At first glance, it may seem like a reboot--such as in the case of Square Enix's Thief coming out this year--but considering how 343 Industries is the developer behind the game, it may be take off from where the creators ended in its last installment.

Reports have also confirmed that the new Halo franchise will run at 60 frames per second, while also taking advantage of the Xbox One's cloud features.

Capcom's big surprise? Dead Rising 3

Last week, Capcom was lobbying for a surprise that gamers can catch at the E3 2013. Perhaps this is the big surprise, with is Dead Rising 3 coming exclusively to the Xbox One during the holidays.

This particular installment promises a much bigger environment compared to its two predecessors, and Eurogamer adds that there are more zombies that you will fight off at once.

You can also create and combine your own weapons, as seen in the E3 2013 trailer.

Venture Beat adds that Dead Rising 3 will utilize the SmartGlass, allowing for multiscreen software application for added artillery using the tablet or phone, which you can play to affect the game.
