Apart from the PS4 games slated for reveal, Sony will be extending the E3 2013 to its other consoles, namely the PS3 and the PS Vita, to bring the number of games to be showcased at the tradeshow event to a grand total of 40.

This means that, beyond next generation games, Sony may be planning to showcase upcoming gaming content for its other consoles, making sure that its three-day run at the event will be brimming with gaming reveals.

Different sources have brought up various names for Sony's lineup, starting with the 18 games listed by Now Gamer:

- Beyond: Two Souls

- DriveClub

- EverQuest Next

- Gran Turismo 6

- Infamous: Second Son

- Invizimals: The Alliance

- Invizimals: The Lost Kingdom

- Killzone: Mercenary

- Killzone: Shadow Fall

- Knack

- PlanetSide 2

- Puppeteer

- Tearaway

- The Last Guardian

- The Last of Us

- Until Dawn

- Warrior's Lair

- Wonderbook: Diggs Nightcrawler

Videogamer adds a few more titles to those that are not yet on the list, to include Destiny, The Evil Within, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and DLC content for God of War: Ascension.

Note that all of the entries pertaining to the leaked Sony lineup all end the list with "many more" in store, hinting that Sony may either be gearing up for more PS4 surprises or that the announced games are just the only ones with live demos.

Sony's hype on the games, particularly for the PS4 may come from the most recent word that Sony CEO Kaz Hirai had said to IGN, "The most important thing we need to make sure we do, at least initially, is that we all agree and understand that the PS4 is a great video game console that appeals to video gamers."

"If we miss that part, then I don't think we get the initial establishment of the console."

Microsoft's talk will be all about games

At Microsoft's reveal last May, the talk had been mostly about the power of integration and TV for the next generation console, with little bits devoted to how it's geared towards changing the face of gaming today.

And the Xbox One got flak for that. Now, Microsoft seems to be bent on putting games at the forefront, in lieu of the event being a tradeshow for games as showcased in a recently released teaser trailer.

"A New Generation of Games. Reveals & Announcements. Exclusive Content. developer Interviews," are just some of the things that the trailer promises to offer for the E3 2013.

Some of confirmed games to be seen as per the trailer include already familiar titles such as Call of Duty: Ghosts, Halo 4, Forza Motorsport 5, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Gears of War, and Battlefield 4.

However, leaks surrounding the Microsoft E3 2013 lineup have been circulating, producing an entire long list of all the games. Capsule Computers adds a few more titles, such as Killer Instinct, Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty Land, Quantum Break, Dead Rising 3, Dying Light, Homefront 2, Ryse, Fable IV, Mirror's Edge 2, Rainbow 6: Patriots, League of Legends, Fortnite, Crackdown 3, and Brother in Arms: Furious Four.

As can be seen, some of the titles may have been influenced by the more recent rumors, and may have been connected to Microsoft.

However, considering Sony's longer list of games, it might be better for Microsoft to churn out these titles at the E3 2013, to save it from the hot water that it was caught in at the reveal last month.
