Miranda Lambert calls herself a ‘loser,’ singer felt ‘tinge of hurt’ from Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani dating news
Miranda Lambert called herself a loser in a recently uploaded Instagram picture, amidst romance rumours between her former husband Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.
The multi-awarded country singer took to Instagram to share a group picture of herself while enjoying a night out with friends. In the picture, Lambert and friends were wearing beanie hats with the words logo of the “Losers” bar printed on it.
Lambert captioned the picture, "I'm a loser baby"... My sweet Scotty Wray and @ape_lewis #favoritebar #losersnashville #beaniesandbesties #bandmates #bff's.”
According to Us Weekly magazine, Lambert was quoting a line from a famous Beck song in her Instagram post. The “Little Red Wagon” singer has been spending a lot of time with her friends lately, especially this week in which she celebrated her birthday. Lambert turned 32 on Nov. 10. She and her friends celebrated her birthday with a “unicorn” ride.
The singer also received a massive bulletin message from her Lindale, Texas hometown to honour Lambert’s birthday, Us Weekly reported. Lambert even capped off her birthday by giving herself a diamond bling gift and new ear piercings.
Meanwhile, a friend close to Lambert told People magazine that the recent romance news between Shelton and his fellow “The Voice” judge has also affected the singer. The source revealed to the magazine that Lambert felt a “tinge of hurt” from her former husband’s new dating status.
"But they are divorced, after all, and she wishes nothing but the best for Blake," the People source added.
However, Lambert is not letting the Shelton and Stefani romance news affect her career and personal life. The People insider shared that Lambert is focused in the “simpler things in life” and is concentrating on “her new music, dogs, horses, life in Nashville and her family and friends." The source also added that the singer is not interested in dating right now, but “wouldn’t rule it out.”
