With less than ten days left for the Miss Universe 2013 contest to take place; all eyes are set on this 22-year-old beauty queen to take home the crown for Miss Universe this year. Here are the reasons why Miss New Zealand could win Miss Universe 2013.

1. Beauty with Brains - Holly Cassidy works in real estate for Barfoot and Thompson and is a fellow #HBelite member (same as Ella Langsford, current Miss World NZ). This beautiful lady is also a current HB/Monster Energy NZ ambassador.

2. Multi-Talented - Holly has been studying dance for eight years, trained in classical, jazz and contemporary genres. This 5 feet 6 inches curvier beauty enjoys playing the ukulele and also painting. If this was not enough, Cassidy is quite athletic and loves running, gymnastics and swimming.

3. Has Beauty Pageant in her Genes - Holly's mother has been placed fourth in the event of Miss Universe when she was in her 20s. The Auckland-based model is no stranger to the pressure of modelling and was a runner-up to Miss Auckland last year. She has also been modelling since she was a teenager.

4. Has No Stage Fright - Miss Universe 2013 contest is all about confidence, will-power and dedication and Holly has all three qualities. She has been into modelling since long hence does not shy away from camera and loves being on stage. "I have always loved being on the stage and began by dancing for eight years, but I soon got the modelling bug and have been doing that ever since," Holly told Elocal New Zealand before she left for the competition. She is also dedicated to the fitness and has a gruelling schedule with a personal trainer at the gym four times a week. But she does not leave the fifth day easy and does her own work-outs. "It takes a lot of dedication, which is why I enjoy having a personal trainer to push me that bit further," she says.

5. The Un-conventional Girl - Holly does not have a typical model like thin figure but is curvier and looks great in that look. "I am curvier than your average catwalk model and I'm only 5'6", but there is a lot more to me than my height," Holly says. Miss Universe 2013 is all about being yourself and happy with your body and your inner beauty, and Holly just personifies these qualities.

Her effervescent personality, coupled with drop-dead gorgeous looks and happy-go-lucky attitude, Holly has all the qualities to bring home the crown of Miss Universe 2013 to New Zealand. The contest will be aired live on November 9 from the Russian city of Moscow.
