Miss Universe Australia 2015 Monika Radulovic flaunts bikini body in Hayman Island
Miss Universe Australia 2015 Monika Radulovic, 24, recently spent a short vacation in Hayman Island in Queensland. She took to Instagram to share a photo of herself showing off her bikini body.
“Hands up if you’re excited for the weekend!” Radulovic captioned her photo where she's seen wearing a mint green two-piece swimsuit with her arms held up. She also thanked Hypoxi Studio Mascot, the first training concept to combine exercise with alternating high and low pressure, for helping her “get toned and bikini ready.”
The brunette Bosnian-Australian beauty pageant titleholder is also a model. She is currently engaged to artist Alesandro Ljubicic, who proposed to her in Paris, France. They plan to get married either in 2018 or in 2019, Novosti has learned.
Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina to parents of Bosnian Serb ethnicity, Radulovic was only four when her family came to Australia as refugees. Before winning Miss Universe Australia 2015, she was third runner-up at the Miss Universe Australia 2014, with Tegan Martin winning the title.
It was recently revealed that the national costume that Radulovic will be wearing at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant is inspired by Dame Edna. The blue glittery attire was designed by Sydney designer Timothy Cubbo and was chosen through public votes, among other costumes.
During his interview with the Australian breakfast TV show “Sunrise,” designer Cubbo said he would re-engineer the attire so that Miss Universe Australia 2015 do not have to hold a large pair of spectacles on her head. However, Radulovic said she does not mind holding the glasses.
If Radulovic wins Miss Universe 2015, she will be the third Miss Universe winner from Australia. Kerry Anne Wells won the title in 1972 and Jennifer Hawkins in 2004.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump now owns 100 percent of the Miss Universe, which organises the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants. In September, he bought half of the organisation, which was originally owned by NBC.
