On Dec. 19, Rolene Strauss of South Africa will pass the crown of Miss World 2015 to one of the 114 contestants vying for the title.

The 65th edition of Miss World 2015 will be held at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China. Tim Vincent and Angela Chow will return to host the event alongside Miss World 2013 Megan Young of Philippines. The coronation night will be broadcasted live tomorrow night on E! Entertainment Channel in Australia at 11 p.m., and in the U.S. at 7:00 a.m. EST / 6:00 a.m. CST / 5:00 a.m. PST. To watch behind the scenes footages, click here.

The judges’ at this year show will include Julian Morley, chairwoman of Miss World organisation, Mike Dixon, musical director of Miss World, Linda Pétursdóttir, who is Miss World 1988 from Iceland, Agbani Darego, who is Miss World 2001 from Nigeria, Azra Akin, who is Miss World 2002 from Turkey, Zhang Zilin, who is Miss World 2007 from China PR, Ksenia Sukhinova, who is Miss World 2008 from Russia, Ivian Sarcos, who is Miss World 2011 from Venezuela and Yu Wenxial, who is Miss World 2012 from China PR.

The preliminary events for 2015 Miss World started on Nov. 21. Miss World 2015 candidate Lisa Punch of Guyana was crowned the Talent Champion after singing her self-composed track, “One Last Time,” as a tribute to her deceased cousin.

Meanwhile, Miss World 2015 candidate Steffi Van Wyk of Namibia secured a win in the Sports Challenge. Van Wyk has made history by winning all the qualifying events of the challenge.

The contestants also attended and walked the runway for the famed Chinese clothing brand Cashmere, and they also attended the latest Charity Gala and were able to raise ¥260,000 (AU$56097).

Meanwhile, People’s Choice favourites are Miss Cameroon (Jessica Ngoua), Miss Ecuador (Camila Marañón), Miss France (Hinarere Taputu), Miss India (Aditi Arya), Miss Lebanon (Valerie Abou Chacra), Miss Philippines (Hillarie Parungao), Miss Russia (Sofia Nikitchuk), Miss Thailand (Thunchanok Moonnilta), Miss Venezuela (Anyela Galante) and Miss Vietnam (Trần Ngọc Lan Khuê).

The winner of the People’s Choice Award, the votes for which can be cast via Miss World App, will be announced during the grand final on Saturday night.
