'Modern Family' Season 7, Episode 6 Spoilers: 'The More You Ignore Me'
In next week’s episode of “Modern Family,” Phil (Ty Burrell) and Claire (Julie Bowen) Dunphy deal with some erratic behaviour from their teenagers. Meanwhile, Gloria (Sofia Vergara) enter a business venture, while her husband gets an award for his achievements in his career. Elsewhere, newly reunited Haley (Sarah Hyland) and Dylan have an awkward run-in with Andy and Beth.
According to the synopsis shared by ABC, Episode 6 is titled “The More You Ignore Me.” Phil and Claire will be dealing with a lot of parenting issues as their teenagers start to act out. Their youngest son, Luke (Nolan Gould), will be caught driving without a license, while the responsible child, Alex (Ariel Winter), will unexpectedly get into trouble as well.
Alex will uncharacteristically get caught sneaking out of a liquor store. While all of these troubles with the kids are going on, Phil will also be dealing with his own “personal insecurities.”
Meanwhile, the Delgado-Pritchetts and the Tucker-Pritchetts will be sharing a lot of screentime. Cam (Eric Stonestreet) will be pushing Gloria to start a business venture. Her family’s Colombian hot sauce recipe is fantastic, and Cam thinks that she should try to recreate and sell it.
While Gloria is busy thinking about a way to start her business venture, her husband Jay (Ed O’Neill), is getting a “Titans of Industry” award. He runs a successful closet company and the business world is recognising his achievements. He enlists the help of his son Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson), to shoot a video to accompany the award presentation.
Elsewhere, reunited couple Haley and Dylan (Reid Ewing) will be having an awkward encounter with Andy (Adam Devine) and Beth (Laura Ashley Samuels). At the start of the season, Haley tried to stop Andy from proposing to Beth, but ended up being too late. Beth accepted and Haley eventually ended up back together with Dylan.
“Modern Family” airs Wednesdays at 9:00 pm ET on ABC.
