Jamie Campbell Bower and Lily Collins could have been the next "Robsten" couple if not for their split early in August. Apart from the amazing chemistry they had for "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" movie, their adorable red carpet moments won a few hearts. If only the "Jamily" duo would get back together. Here are all the reasons why they should.

Almost every fan of Cassandra Clare's novel, "The Mortal Instruments" fell in love with the lead characters namely Clary Fray and Jace Wayland. Fans fell more in love when their film counterparts were announced for the film adaptation late last year. Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower were the perfect stars for the part.

It's no surprise that while filming the characters that fell in love in the books also paved way for a romance between the actors portraying them. Also, it was thanks to Lily Collins that Jamie got the part of Jace Wayland.

"Lily recommended me for the role of Jace in this film. I'd already been seen for it but she was already cast and said: "Bring him in, let's read,"" said Jamie.

"I read with a couple of different guys. Jamie just came in and... that was it. He was just himself. He had this perfect mixture of being this witty, kind of jokey, cocky in the best sense of the word. But also extremely vulnerable, emotional and this great mixture of emotions. And that's what Jace is. He has to walk in a room and make people turn their heads and that's what Jamie does," explained Collins in an interview with the Collider.

Obviously, the two have chemistry not only for the film but in real life which isn't a connection easily found with any other star in the Hollywood biz. Despite the split, Jamie and Lily have been professional all throughout promotion and premieres.

"We're tight," said Jamie to E! News, adding, "Lily and I are very, very close. Very close. Always have been, always will be."
