Motorola has confirmed the availability of the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update on the RAZR M smart phones. Users can now experience a much improved device packed with additional features like the Google Now and Google Voice Search.

The Kevlar-coated and liquid-resistant Motorola RAZR M features a 1.5-GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 2000mAh battery, 8-MP camera and a 4.3-inch screen display with a 960×540 pixel resolution at 256 pixels per inch. The RAZR M previously ran on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but users can now upgrade to the Jelly Bean operating system.

Motorola RAZR M can now automatically provide information to the users even before inquiring like weather and traffic updates with the aid of Google Now. Another remarkable Motorola RAZR M feature is the Google Voice Search that brings fast and precise results.

Tapping onto the "mic" button on the search bar or saying "Google" out loud can activate the feature. However, users should note that the Google Voice Talk Back feature will only be enabled if the device is on US/English or UK/English settings.

The Android Jelly Bean upgrade on the Motorola RAZR M can be manually downloaded without any costs through Wi-Fi. The device users will just go to "Settings" then select "About Phone" and then "System Updates." The Motorola RAZR M battery must be charged more than 50% or connected to a charger in order to complete the action.

Meanwhile, Best Buy has announced as well the availability of a platinum Motorola Droid RAZR M version aside from the black and white colors but only on a limited basis. Best Buy offers the Motorola RAZR M at the price of $49.99 accompanied with a two-year agreement compared to the Verizon Wireless unactivated price of $599.99.
