In every red carpet arrivals there are bound to be hit and then the unfortunate miss. For this years annual MTV Movie Awards 2012, see the celebrities who have failed to impress at the red carpet.

While Charlize Theron showed younger celebrities how to dominate the red carpet, others forgot to take notes and failed miserably. The new mom looked ravishing in her red peplum Lanvin dress, whereas others looked hideous with their fashion choices.

Brooke Hogan looked as if she was at the wrong party with an inappropriate looking dress. She wore a Jovani cut out disco ball dress that showed way too much skin. Her platinum locks and fake tan didn't help her win any favors either.

Elizabeth Banks attempted to pull off a fashion forward piece but have failed to impress. She wore a one piece suit that had cut outs on the side. Actress Crystal Reed almost looked good but the dress didn't flatter her shape as much as her booties that seemed completely out of place.

But as far as being the worst dressed for the event, the award goes to Patrick Carney and Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. The duo dressed up in light green onesies pajamas dressed like babies. They even completed the look with gloves and bunny slippers.
